Terms of Service

1. What ASCEND is

ASCEND is a sports analytics and research tool for informational and entertainment purposes. It is not a sportsbook. It does not take bets, hold money or pay out winnings, and it is not affiliated with any league, team or sportsbook. Nothing in ASCEND is financial, investment or betting advice, and no score, signal, model or record guarantees any outcome. Past results do not predict future results. You make your own decisions and are responsible for them.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 19, or the legal age for sports betting where you live if that is higher, and you must follow the laws that apply to you. Sports betting is not legal everywhere. It is up to you to know whether it is legal where you are.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen in the app.

4. Premium subscriptions

• Premium is billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account, at the price shown before you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• Deleting your ASCEND account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it with Apple or Google.
• We may change prices or what Premium includes. Price changes apply from your next renewal, with the notice Apple or Google requires.

If you download ASCEND from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse ASCEND. In particular, don't:

• copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the app's data, scores or content, or use them to build a competing product;
• reverse engineer, overload or try to break into the app or our servers;
• use ASCEND for anything unlawful, including where sports betting is not allowed.

6. Content and data

The app, its design, scores and models belong to us. Sports data is provided by licensed third parties, and team names, logos and league marks belong to their owners. The picks you track and the models you build are yours. You let us store and process them to run the service for you.

7. Accuracy and availability

Sports data, lines and injury news change quickly and can be late, incomplete or wrong. ASCEND is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise that it will be error-free or always available.

8. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any losses from betting or other decisions you make using ASCEND, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to ASCEND is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using ASCEND and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app or by email if a change is significant. If you keep using ASCEND after a change, the new terms apply.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
